AEGIS is not intended simply to digitise occurrence reports or retrieve SOPs.
The system is designed to reason about the operational state of an incident as it develops.
This means considering available evidence, uncertainty, risk, existing controls, operational capability, authority, and the consequences of delay before recommending what should happen next.
Human Command Remains in Command
AEGIS is decision support.
It does not exist to remove operational authority from supervisors, controllers or managers.
