1. Personal data we collect

We collect only what we need to operate the website and respond to you.

1.1 Data you give us

When you contact us, request a briefing or demo, apply for a role, subscribe to updates, or otherwise write to us, you may give us:

• name, job title and organisation

• email address, telephone number and country

• message content and any files you attach

• preferred contact method and meeting availability

• recruitment information if you apply for a role (CV, work history, links you choose to share)

Please do not send us sensitive operational, client or incident data through a public website form.

1.2 Data collected automatically

When you visit the website, our hosting provider and any analytics or security tools we use may collect:

• IP address and approximate location derived from it

• device, browser and operating-system information

• pages viewed, referring URL, date and time of visit

• cookie or similar identifiers, as described in section 6

1.3 Data from other sources

We may receive limited professional contact details from you via a colleague, an event, an introducer, or a public professional profile you have made available, and combine that with information you later give us.

We do not buy consumer marketing lists for this website.

2. How we use personal data

We use personal data to:

• operate, secure and improve the website

• respond to enquiries and arrange meetings

• send information you requested about Aetomic and our products

• assess applications if you apply for a role

• keep records of our correspondence

• comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights

• understand, in aggregate, how the website is used
   

We do not use website enquiry data to train public foundation models. We do not sell personal data.

Where the PDPA requires consent, we rely on the consent you give when you submit a form or otherwise agree to be contacted. We may also handle data where it is necessary for our legitimate business purposes in responding to a professional enquiry, entering a contract, or meeting a legal obligation, in line with the PDPA.

3. When we disclose personal data

We may share personal data with:

• service providers who host the website, provide email, analytics, security or scheduling tools, under obligations to use the data only for our instructions

• professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed

• a hiring or assessment provider if you apply for a role and we use one

• authorities where required by law or to protect safety, security or legal rights

• a successor if we restructure, merge or transfer relevant business assets, subject to appropriate safeguards

We do not disclose website personal data to advertisers so they can market third-party products to you.

Customer operational data inside Aetomic products is isolated under product contracts and is not used for website marketing.

4. Overseas transfer

Our website and some service providers may process data outside Singapore. Where we transfer personal data out of Singapore, we take steps required under the PDPA so that the recipient provides a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA, including contractual safeguards where appropriate.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose collected, including:

• website logs and security records — typically a short operational period unless needed for an investigation

• enquiry and sales correspondence — for the period of the discussion and a reasonable follow-up period, or as required for legal records

• recruitment records — for the recruitment exercise and a limited period afterwards, unless law requires longer or you join us

We then delete or anonymise the data where practicable.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The website may use:

• necessary cookies or storage for security, load balancing and basic function

• analytics cookies or similar tools to understand aggregate traffic, if we enable them

You can control cookies through your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect site function.

If we use a non-essential analytics or marketing cookie that requires consent under applicable law, we will request that consent.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration and loss. No website transmission is completely secure. Do not submit passwords, access credentials, or operational incident detail through public forms.

Subject to the PDPA and other applicable law, you may:

• request access to personal data we hold about you

• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data

• withdraw consent where we rely on consent (this will not affect handling already completed, and may mean we cannot continue a request)

• ask us how we have used or disclosed your personal data

To do so, email [privacy contact]. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within the time required by law.

You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) in Singapore if you are not satisfied with our response.

9. Children

The website is intended for business and professional visitors. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this site.

10. Third-party links

The website may link to third-party sites (for example LinkedIn or scheduling tools). Their privacy practices are their own. This policy applies only to personal data we control.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change, and the current version will be posted on this page. Material changes may also be notified by email if we have an ongoing contact with you.
